CAN The war on TERRORISM be WON through IMMIGRATION RESTRICTIONS?
PRETTY_ME asked:
No security expert since September 11th, 2001 has said that restrictive immigration measures would have prevented the terrorist attacks—instead, the key is effective use of good intelligence. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were here on legal visas. Since 9/11, the myriad of measures targeting immigrants in the name of national security have netted no terrorism prosecutions. In fact, several of these measures could have the opposite effect and actually make us less safe, as targeted communities of immigrants are afraid to come forward with information.

So what is your question? It seems like you answered what you asked
Absolutely not. The terrorist bombers on the London Underground last year were all born in England!
the war on terrorism can be won through immigration restrictions. the only catch would be, there would be no one to run the country!
no, but it can help.
ONLY IF WE ENLIST ALL THE ILLEGALS AND SEND THEM TO IRAQ
Immigration reform alone can not solve the problem, however immigration reform is needed in this country
We cant win the war on terrorism any more than we can win the war on drugs. Actually, we have even less of a chance of winning against terrorism. Drugs are real things that can be confiscated and burned. Terrorism on the other hand, is an idea, which hasnt been defined, but were waging a war against it anyway…
Incidentally I highly suggest you watch this documentary on 9-11. It might interest you based on what you said in the question…=-8260059923762628848

LOL! The problem is all brown people look alike to some Americans. Border patrol is lucky if they can tell the difference between a Mexican and a Salvadorian, let alone find terrorists.
It’s not just about kicking out all illegals here it has to be done at a more basic level. Restrict the number of visas, check up on those with these visas,do background checks on these people, and if you break a law or are involved with those who do, you have to leave. America doesn’t owe foreigners an education here nor do we owe them free reign of the country just because we are a free country. They are visitors here and as I have been raised, when your a guest be on your best behavior! It won’t win the war on terrorism but it will make it a lot easier to maintain safety here at home!
No. Immigration Reform wouldn’t help, because those that would follow the rules would follow the rules and those who wouldn’t follow the rules we currently have won’t follow future rule changes or additions.
When you put out a fire, you don’t aim for the flames to put it out. You point the fire extinguisher at the item that is burning. The only way to defeat Islamic Terrorism is to snuff it out where it is burning the most, in the Middle East and other Islamic Strongholds.
The opposite is:
Can illegal aliens win the war for us???
Dumb as yours, isn’t it?
Thank you for your support.
