Cons do yourselves a favor and go see what the actual scientific organizations are saying. Libs quote scientific organizations. Cons quote a dwindling minority of scientists who have doubts (and do not outright reject man made global warming).
Who has more credibility? The majority of guys with Phds or a small minority?
What makes cons think they are climatic / geologic / meteorologic experts that they can tell the majority of scientific organizations that they are wrong?
I’m no expert either. That is why I trust the scientific consensus on global warming, not the minority.

This is an article from National Geographic, not a political site. This article argues that Mars is currently undergoing a global warming, and it my be from warming of the sun. Which could explain our global warming. This needs to be investigated more, but if Earth and Mars are warming at a similar rate, it could be possible the sun is causing not us.
For the same reason that LIBS keep quoting Al Gore as an authority on the subject
Why let facts and data get in the way of a belief?
These people–many of htem–simply do not know the difference betweenscience and philosophy/politics. If people are discussing about a philosophical issue–or a political question–the ultimate outcome (as far as any public policy or consuns is concerned) can be reached by arguementation based on opinion–in fact, that’s the only thing such things ARE, at bottom.
What these people do not grasp is that scientific questions aredecided by evidence and analysis–and theier opinions simply have no bearing. It isn’t unique to this topic. You see that they have the same approach to evolution–they believe they can change it by argueing for their opinions–and many honestly don’t understand that there IS no debate-and can’t be–about matters of fact.
Maybe you should check out things more… the ice caps on Mars are also melting.
